Music Professor at the Federal Institute of Bahia (IFBA), the Maestro Helder Rocha Leite has a Bachelor degree in Composition and Conducting of the Federal University of Bahia (UFBA) and develops a work which blends diverse musical styles and sources that were important in his journey. His music contains a strong influence of European classical music as well as characteristic rhythms and harmonies of Brazilian Popular Music. An excellent acoustic guitarist, he uses rich harmony and melodic counterpoints as an important characteristic in his compositions. His musical arrangements are always marked by the presence of a strong instrumental part, having an important highlight in Mixing too.
